Job summary

Guidewire Software is seeking a Senior ML Engineer, GenAI, to lead the design, deployment, and operation of GenAI solutions and LLM capabilities for the P&C Insurance platform. You will own components from data pipelines to model fine-tuning on AWS, driving safe, scalable AI across Guidewire’s products.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in ML/DS, strong Python, and hands-on AWS experience with S3/EC2/RDS/SageMaker, and a proven track record delivering production ML systems with robust ML Ops

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Machine Learning/Data Science with production ML
• Strong Python and scalable ML/LLM service experience
• Experience on AWS (S3, EC2, RDS, SageMaker)
• Solid ML Ops practices (CI/CD, monitoring, drift detection)
• Experience with transformer models and LLMs
• Experience with prompt engineering and RAG workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of GenAI/LLM products and pipelines
• Build ML/LLM features across insurance workflows
• Develop prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with product roadmaps
• Establish ML Ops best practices for production readiness and governance
