Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Senior Generative AI Engineer in Boston to design, build, test, and deploy intelligent AI agents and agentic workflows. You will work with LLMs, RAG, and enterprise AI platforms to take AI solutions from concept through production deployment.

You will apply prompt engineering, memory management, and tool calling while building scalable, secure, and production-ready AI systems for enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and deploying Generative AI and agentic AI solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and deploying AI agents via Azure AI Foundry.
• Hands-on with modern AI-assisted platforms (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Slingshot).
• Proven experience deploying agentic AI in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, AI orchestration, tool calling, memory management, and agent architectures.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: API integration, system design, and scalable solutions.
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, LangSmith or similar orchestration/observability frameworks.
• Experience designing multi-step and multi-agent workflows.
• Familiar with cloud-native AI architectures and MLOps best practices.
• Experience integrating AI with enterprise data platforms and business apps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to take AI concepts from design to development, testing, deployment and production.
• Ability to turn Generative AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, optimize, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Build scalable AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, orchestration frameworks, autonomous agents, and multi-agent workflows.
• Develop and optimize multi-step AI workflows with enterprise systems and data platforms.
• Build and deploy AI agents using Azure AI Foundry and leverage Microsoft Fabric for enterprise AI.
• Apply prompt engineering, tool calling, memory management, and orchestration patterns.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to identify valuable AI use cases.
• Build, test, troubleshoot, and deploy agentic AI apps in enterprise environments.
• Evaluate emerging Generative AI technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure AI solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, security, and performance.
• Integrate AI with enterprise data platforms, business apps, APIs, and systems.
• Apply strong software engineering practices across design, development, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Stay current with Generative AI and apply new technologies to business problems.
