Job summary

Motorola Solutions, based in the United States with hybrid flexibility, seeks a Senior AI Engineer to shape the future of AI-powered products. You will lead GenAI initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive production-grade AI solutions using AWS Bedrock and related technologies.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Software Engineering to transform AI use cases from concept to production, ensuring quality, safety, and scalability across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in software development with 2+ years in production AI/GenAI.
• Deep experience with AWS Bedrock, Knowledge Bases, and OpenSearch.
• Proven track record designing RAG architectures at scale.
• Proficiency in Python for AI/ML and NodeJS/TypeScript for backend development.
• Experience with agentic frameworks and Bedrock Guardrails.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts: models, agents, embeddings, vector databases.
• Hands-on prompt engineering and model evaluation methodologies.
• Knowledge of AI observability, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for GenAI initiatives and Bedrock deployments.
• Design, build, and evaluate AI use cases from concept to production.
• Collaborate with product and software teams to deliver AI features.
• Advise management and customers on AI implementation strategies.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and technology chapter activities.
• Build production-scale GenAI apps and design robust guardrails.
