We are seeking an experienced Generative AI Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale AI and GenAI solutions. The ideal candidate will lead AI initiatives, define architecture standards, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders to implement innovative AI-powered products using LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, and cloud-native technologies.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within NYC is $110k - $125k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of GenAI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Define AI strategy, architecture, governance, and best practices across the organization.
• Build and deploy AI applications leveraging RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Vector Databases, and AI Agents.
• Develop Agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Architect AI platforms on cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Establish AI security, compliance, responsible AI, and model governance standards.
• Lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor AI/ML engineers.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and drive innovation initiatives.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of AI applications in production environments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in Generative AI.
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or open-source LLMs (Llama, Mistral).
• Expertise in Python and AI frameworks.
• Experience with: LangChain LangGraph CrewAI / AutoGen
• Strong understanding of: Prompt Engineering, RAG Architecture, Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, FAISS),mMulti-Agent Systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of MLOps and CI/CD for AI deployments.
