Job summary

Synechron is seeking a hands-on AI Lead Architect to design and deliver scalable Generative AI solutions, including end-to-end RAG pipelines and production-grade Python APIs. You will work with LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases, deploying on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, with strong focus on governance, security, and LLMOps.

The role requires 3+ years delivering AI solutions, experience building RAG apps, and familiarity with LangChain/LlamaIndex.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience delivering AI or Generative AI solutions.
• Proven experience building and deploying RAG applications.
• Knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, APIs, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, databases, security, and automated testing.

We are looking for a hands‑on AI Lead Architect with strong experience in Generative AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), Python, LLMs, cloud platforms, and enterprise technology architecture.

The role involves designing and delivering scalable AI solutions, building end‑to‑end RAG pipelines, integrating LLMs and vector databases, developing Python APIs and services, and deploying AI applications into production. The candidate will also establish AI governance, security, monitoring, evaluation, and LLMOps practices.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $120k-$140k/year & benefits (see below)..

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Implement Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLOps, and LLMOps practices.

• Lead technical discussions, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experienced in software engineering, architecture, data engineering, or machine learning.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience delivering AI or Generative AI solutions.
• Proven experience building and deploying RAG applications.
• Knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, APIs, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
