Job summary
Deloitte is seeking a Senior Microsoft AI&Data Forward Deployed Engineer in San Francisco to rapidly prototype and deliver GenAI-enabled solutions. You will collaborate with client teams, shape solutions, and drive measurable business impact from day one.
The role requires 5+ years in software/data/engineering, hands-on GenAI/LLM experience, and strong Azure AI Foundry skills, with travel ~50% and opportunities for mentorship within an FDE pod.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering.
- 5+ years of software/data/analytics engineering experience.
- 1+ years building GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production environments.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft AI&Data including Azure AI Foundry.
- 1+ years of leading project workstreams and translating problems into AI solutions.
- 1+ years of writing reliable, well-documented code.
- Ability to travel ~50% depending on client engagements.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Responsibilities
- Embed with clients to identify needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions.
- Partner with leaders, architects, and engineers to align priorities.
- Lead sessions to shape solutions and drive outcomes.
- Prototype and deliver GenAI solutions with industry expertise.
- Mentor newer FDEs and share reusable components.
