LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Senior Data Scientist II to advance generative AI, retrieval systems, and production ML components within our AI-enabled legal tech portfolio. You will design and deploy Python applications, optimize latency, and ensure reliability in a monorepo environment.

We value deep expertise in OpenSearch or Solr, strong software engineering fundamentals, and cross-functional delivery.

Formación

• Advanced Python proficiency with production apps.
• Strong software design and testing skills.
• Experience building resilient distributed systems.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Architect modular agentic applications with clear separation across components.
• Refactor complex Python code for readability and performance.
• Ensure production readiness with validation, retries, and secure handling.
• Establish observability through logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Define interfaces between components.
• Write unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in deployments and incident investigations.
