What you'll do

You will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective machine learning solutions across the company. You will work closely with the leadership team to articulate value delivery, improve internal productivity, and drive revenue growth.

This position reports to the Director, Data Science.

Responsibilities

• Develop new methodologies using DL/ML/LLM and Agentic Framework models to predict user behavior and enhance automation.
• Apply various genAI techniques to derive actionable insights.
• Collaborate with leadership across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to define and execute post-sales strategies, including market segmentation, target account selection, and go-to-market approaches.
• Analyze customer success data, market trends, and customer insights to identify improvements and value-driving activities.
• Partner with product teams to design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests.
• Leverage data to develop actionable insights and present findings to senior management.
• Promote models, frameworks, analysis, and insights with stakeholders and business partners.
• Act with urgency and purpose, identify and resolve roadblocks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for input and assistance.

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employees split their time between in-office and remote work, with a minimum of 2 days per week in-office, depending on team requirements.

What you bring

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 8+ years experience in building data science applications and ML pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python for research and software development.
• Knowledge of ML, deep learning, and statistics frameworks, including Large Language Models.
• Experience with large datasets, distributed, and cloud computing platforms.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience deploying ML models in production.
• Proven track record of progressing ML projects from inception to deployment.
• Experience with algorithms like CatBoost, XGBoost, LGBM, and neural networks for classification, regression, and clustering.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, R, etc.
• Experience in the SaaS domain as a Data Scientist.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics, CS, or Engineering with specialization in ML, AI, or Statistics.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Experience applying data science to customer success organizations.
• Experience building experimentation and ML platforms.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Github, JIRA, Confluence.

Wage Transparency

Salary varies based on location, skills, and experience. For example:

• California: $134,900 - $216,975
• Washington, New Jersey, NY: $129,000 - $190,550

Additional compensation includes bonuses, stock options, and comprehensive benefits such as PTO, parental leave, health plans, retirement, learning opportunities, and more.
