Visa is seeking a seasoned Software Architect to join our Corporate Generative AI Technologies team. You will design, build, and scale enterprise-grade GenAI and agentic applications with secure, scalable architecture and robust production readiness.

You will lead architecture delivery, mentor engineers, and define reusable patterns while integrating AI-native services across full-stack systems, frontend React interfaces, and backend microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale enterprise-grade GenAI and agentic applications with secure, scalable architecture.

• Build frontend using React and integrate with backend APIs and AI services.
• Develop backend services in Python, Node.js, or Java with secure APIs and observability.
• Work with PostgreSQL/Redis and vector databases; design data models and queries.
• Implement AI-enabled workflow automation, tool orchestration, and enterprise integrations.
• Develop AI-native capabilities using OpenAI/Anthropic APIs and tooling.
• Ensure observability, monitoring, and operational readiness across GenAI applications.
