Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior GenAI Algorithms Engineer to advance foundation model development, training, and deployment. You will work across distributed training, RL for LLMs/VLMs, model efficiency, and open-source AI infrastructure, contributing to Megatron-LM, Megatron Bridge, and NeMo-RL.

You'll design scalable data preparation pipelines, develop training and inference optimization techniques, and collaborate with research, product, and infra teams to push the GenAI stack forward

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and optimization.
• Excellent software engineering skills with Python and PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable systems for preparing multimodal datasets for foundation model training.
• Develop algorithms to improve pre-training and post-training efficiency.
• Advance inference techniques to reduce deployment cost and improve performance.
• Build reusable open-source infrastructure for GenAI training (Megatron ecosystem).
