Broadcom’s Gen team is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to own development, quality, and security of Gen, a low-code, model-driven environment for enterprise apps. You’ll code, review, and influence standards while collaborating with product management and customers across the enterprise stack.

You’ll work on-site at the Plano, TX location, bringing deep experience with Java/C#/C++ and cloud-native concepts.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex component relationships.
• Growth mindset with commitment to continuous development.
• Strong problem analysis and debugging skills.
• Deep expertise and hands-on coding with Java, C#, C, and/or C++.
• Experience in Windows, Unix, and Linux.
• Relational databases expertise.
• Cloud Native Architectures, Containers, .NET, TCP/IP, Tuxedo, WebSphere, Liberty, WebLogic, JBoss (WildFly), InstallAnywhere, Eclipse.
• Experience designing and using web APIs like gRPC, REST.

Responsabilidades

• Research, develop, and implement high-quality, secure software solutions to maintain and enhance Gen's core product capabilities for non-apps.
• Troubleshoot and fix customer cases escalated to engineering.
• Contribute to technical design to ensure robust security standards with a simple UX.
• Author technical blogs, webinars, and documentation on best practices.
• Provide thought leadership to enterprise customers on Gen modernization and security.
