Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Sr Advanced Gen AI Engineer to lead the design and development of AI algorithms, models, and systems for enterprise-scale use. You will shape strategic AI initiatives, mentor engineers, and partner with product teams to deliver robust AI solutions.

The role requires 6+ years of AI project leadership, proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and experience with agentic AI and cloud platforms. Hybrid work model in Phoenix, AZ with no relocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum 6 years of experience managing AI-related technology projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Experience with Agentic AI & Multi-Agent Systems.
• Experience working with Cloud AI Platforms (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock).
• Mastery in machine learning or related AI technology.
• Strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex AI solutions to address specific business needs, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
• Work directly with product managers and business leaders to understand requirements and align AI initiatives with business objectives.
• Lead the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including project planning, resource allocation, and monitoring progress.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to AI engineers, fostering learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
