Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Senior GCP Data Architect to lead the design and modernization of enterprise-scale data platforms. You will define architecture strategy, establish scalable data solutions, and partner with engineering and business teams to enable analytics, AI/ML, and cloud transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of data-architecture experience, deep GCP expertise (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub) and a track record delivering scalable, cloud-native data platforms

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture or enterprise data platforms.
• Extensive experience building cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end cloud-based data solutions on GCP.
• Develop modernization roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Design scalable data platforms and data models for analytics and AI/ML.
• Lead governance, standards, and reusable design patterns.
• Guide batch, streaming, and real-time data processing initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-impact data solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership for strategic data programs.
