Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure architectures and drive migration strategies.

Collaborate with DevOps to ensure cost efficiency, security, and compliance, while mentoring team members and shaping modern cloud-native solutions for multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Migration experience to GCP cloud, creating blueprints & best practices.
• Architecture & Design for Data BigQuery, DataFlow, Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Experience on Data Governance & industry regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of core GCP services such as IAM, GKE, cloud Storage, Networking.
• Hands-on knowledge on IaaC build using Terraform and DevOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud architecture solutions leveraging GCP services (Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine).
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure cloud designs.
• Define architecture blueprints, best practices, and cloud standards for deployment.
• Assess systems and data to determine migration strategies.
• Design migration plans for apps, data, and infra to GCP.
• Lead setup of GCP environments (VPCs, IAM, firewalls, hybrid connectivity).
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
• Collaborate with DevOps to streamline CI/CD and container orchestration.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage for performance and cost.
