Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design, secure, and optimize cloud solutions with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including legacy-to-cloud migrations. You will provide technical leadership to development and operations teams.

Responsibilities include designing cloud solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, creating architecture documentation, and ensuring security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in IT, including 3+ years in cloud architecture, DevOps, or similar leadership role.
• GCP/AWS/Azure certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud solutions focusing on GCP, with AWS/Azure context.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and DevOps to translate requirements into designs.
• Provide technical leadership on cloud best practices and architectures.
• Create architectural docs, diagrams, and integration specs.
• Ensure secure, compliant, and high-performance cloud solutions.
• Maintain cloud databases, BigQuery pipelines, and APIs for migrations.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and cost-optimization opportunities.
• Support disaster recovery planning and high availability.
