The successful candidate will advance research, clinical judgement, and innovative care within the GHN program, contributing to departmental education and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate-level degree required and licensed to practice in Texas.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligible for Gastroenterology per ABIM.
• Certification in Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Ten years post-fellowship experience or five years as Assistant Professor or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise in endoscopic and non-endoscopic procedures, outpatient and inpatient care.
• Participate in teaching residents, fellows and trainees and promote education.
• Contribute to research, clinical judgment, and program development within GHN.
