Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of experience designing/analysing gas turbine components or large rotating parts.
• Experience with FEA software (ANSYS/Abaqus) preferred.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes, machining and fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze turbine engine component designs to ensure stress, life, and criteria are met.
• Use design/analysis tools such as ANSYS/Abaqus, Excel, ProEngineer or similar.
• Support development and ensure adherence to technical reviews and field validation plans.
• Identify critical path schedules for design, manufacturing and procurement activities.
• Create, lead and deliver presentations to clients.
