Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a Sr. Engineer to provide engineering expertise for safe, reliable operation of natural gas pipelines and compressor stations.

You will perform design, project management, cost estimation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory standards and company specifications. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering and at least 6 years of gas transmission experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering required, plus relevant field experience.
• 6+ years of experience in gas transmission or related field.
• Familiarity with 49 CFR 192, ASME B31.8, API, and AGA.
• Strong MS Office and CAD software skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design and project management for assigned projects per company specs and standards.
• Prepare project cost estimates, scopes of work, and scheduling.
• Direct and monitor engineering and CAD design personnel.
• Prepare material requisitions and specs for purchases for construction projects.
• Review vendor quotations, drawings, and manufacturing specs.
