Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking a Senior Gas Project Engineer to support our gas group in the Portland, ME area. You will act as a consultant for utility clients on projects including main and service replacements, regulator stations, and integrity management.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical Engineering background and a PE license is preferred. Responsibilities include field work, coordinating with stakeholders, preparing basemaps in AutoCAD, and performing technical analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Proven senior-level experience in natural gas projects or utilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary field work and site investigations.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to meet client goals.
• Produce basemaps and construction drawings in AutoCAD for review by clients and regulators.
• Develop energization/de-energization procedures and cost estimates.
• Assist with marketing and business development efforts.
