Wood Mackenzie is seeking a Managing Consultant in the Americas Gas & LNG Consulting team based in Houston, TX (with travels across the Americas). You will lead the management and delivery of a wide range of commercial and strategic consulting projects, shaping opportunities, performing analyses, and presenting insights to clients.

The role requires 3+ years in energy consulting, strong project management, and solid Excel/data analytics skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; MBA preferred.
• 3+ years in management or energy-focused consulting.
• Experience managing project workflows and coordinating teams.
• Advanced data analytics and Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of natural gas in the energy value chain.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and delivery of commercial and strategic consulting projects.
• Act as Project Manager, create detailed project plans and milestones.
• Analyze commodity markets and project economics.
• Develop market fundamentals and pricing models for natural gas/LNG.
• Build compelling client presentations with key messages.
• Collaborate with cross-sector colleagues across the Americas region.
