Job summary

Entrust Solutions Group, a Leidos company, is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to support natural gas infrastructure within the Gas Programs team. You will lead design efforts, ensure compliance, and oversee projects across the full lifecycle.

Collaborate with project engineers, designers, PMs, and stakeholders to deliver pipe designs, BOMs, calculations, and construction estimates. This hybrid role requires occasional field site visits and active team communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 2-4 years of relevant natural gas utility project experience.
• Ability to travel for occasional project visits and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Review public improvement plans and develop engineering designs.
• Prepare calculations and generate BOMs for pipe, valves, fittings and instrumentation.
• Design pipeline routes and develop construction estimates.
• Coordinate with government agencies and provide field support.
• Supervise select projects and assist in design reviews and scheduling.
• Update as-built drawings and document material/weld/test records for compliance.
