National Grid is seeking a Sr Supervisor for Gas Construction Contractor Oversight in Brooklyn, NY. You will supervise external gas contractor crews, manage the local construction process, and ensure safe, reliable installation of transmission and distribution systems in compliance with codes and regulations.

The role requires extensive knowledge of the gas system, leadership to motivate and develop teams, and the ability to foster cooperative relationships with contractors and bargaining units.

Formación

• Experience with gas distribution systems and state codes.
• Strong communication, planning, and reporting skills.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management with diverse groups.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee gas construction programs for mains and services contractors.
• Coach and develop subordinates; promote safety and compliance.
• Maintain industry knowledge and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accurate reporting, SOPs, and field data are captured.
• Coordinate contractor safety meetings and ensure OQ (Operator Qualification) reporting is complete.
