Job description

The Department of Parks and Recreation, Parks and Natural Resources Division (PNR) Landscape Maintenance Unit is seeking a Senior Gardener to support the maintenance and enhancement of Arlington County's managed landscape areas. This position will overseeing daily landscape work by providing on-site leadership, training, and direction to the landscape maintenance crew while performing advanced horticultural and landscape duties. The Senior Gardener will work closely with the Landscape Team Leader to inspect landscape areas, identify maintenance needs, coordinate work assignments, maintain operational and administrative records, and ensure all landscape maintenance operations and activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry and County standards.
