Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in data science, analytics, or quantitative product analytics in gaming/entertainment.
• Proven experience with statistical analysis, forecasting, experimentation frameworks, and behavioral analytics on large data sets.
• Strong SQL and Python or R skills; cloud data ecosystems and platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Tableau, Looker.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary games data science and analytics lead for Disney Digital Entertainment and act as the central source of truth for product performance and insights.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Develop and deliver analyses for senior leadership with clear narratives, presentations, and strategy recommendations.
• Develop analytical frameworks, forecasting models, and behavioral segmentation for engagement, retention, monetization, and lifecycle analysis.
• Analyze gameplay telemetry and engagement data to identify growth opportunities and optimize user experiences across games and digital ecosystems.
• Define KPIs, measurement frameworks, instrumentation needs, and scalable analytics solutions for product development and planning.
