We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Software Engineer to join a forward‑looking R&D team focused on high‑impact technology exploration. Operating as a fast‑moving, highly efficient team, we are piloting cutting‑edge toolsets and workflows designed to streamline development and explore what the future of AAA game production looks like.
In this role, you will own the character movement and player control systems at the heart of our unannounced project. You will bring deep Unreal Engine 5 expertise and a passion for responsive, authentic movement to a close‑knit, veteran team of craft experts who communicate at a high level but also love getting hands‑on with the code. This role demands hands‑on mastery beyond the character on the screen—you’ll own the broader player‑side surface including player systems, inventory, and dynamic gameplay data pipelines.
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $108,900 and $161,160 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(k) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
