Job summary

WB Games Avalanche seeks a senior level gameplay designer to work on moment-to-moment gameplay features that embody the vision of the game’s directors. You will join a team behind Hogwarts Legacy and collaborate with designers, artists and engineers to deliver high-quality gameplay experiences.

The role requires at least 5+ years in design, strong communication, and fluency with Unreal Engine 5. You will help tune, balance and iterate gameplay through frequent playtests and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a design role.
• At least one shipped title in a professional design role; self-published independent projects for associate candidates.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement verbs for both synchronous and asynchronous multiplayer gameplay.
• Collaborate with designers, artists and engineers under the Lead Gameplay Designer.
• Tune and balance gameplay elements.
• Participate in regular playtests and provide/receive feedback.
• Maintain documentation with a single source of truth.
