Job summary

Escape Velocity Entert... is seeking a Senior Gameplay Designer for a fully remote, full-time role.

You will shape multiplayer match mechanics, collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers, and implement features using your scripting and engine skills in Unreal or Unity. We value experienced developers with 3+ years in multiplayer/live service games, shipped AAA title, strong math and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on a multiplayer and/or live service game.
• At least one shipped AAA title.
• Expert knowledge of game scripting and expertise with Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee multiplayer match mechanics and features.
• Work alongside designers, artists, animators, and engineers to document, then implement these features in engine.
• Use our visual scripting tools to create complex and dynamic gameplay.
• Refine your implementation through playtest feedback and live data.
