Job summary

Second Dinner is seeking a test automation engineer to own and drive Marvel Snap’s test automation initiative and related DevOps duties. You will report to the Lead Engineer of Live Stability and collaborate with QA, engineers, and artists to build test suites, pipelines, and tools to ensure top game quality.

This is a 6-month contract with potential extension, and may evolve into a full-time position if mutually a great fit. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Design scalable automated testing solutions and frameworks.
• Proficient in unit and integration testing with C#/.NET.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of testing practices across unit, integration, and performance.
• Ability to work independently and drive test automation.
• Passion for improving tooling, automation, and processes.
• Empathy and teamwork in a fast-paced studio.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and deliver technical solutions (frameworks, tests, API hooks, tools) to increase test effectiveness.
• Build and enhance continuous integration and delivery pipelines to support MARVEL SNAP.
• Own the long-term development and roadmap of test automation.
• Implement metrics, analyze test data to identify patterns, and report risk status.
• Optimize testing with automation to empower the QA team.
• Automate everything: from commands to complex workflows to improve the player experience.
