IGT Gaming in Reno, Nevada is seeking an Animator IV to lead animation from concept to final implementation for Electronic Gaming Machines, setting visual tone and quality standards while mentoring teammates.

You will collaborate with designers, engineers and art peers, create storyboards, develop sequences for reels, bonuses and attract sequences, and ensure animations meet gameplay and performance goals in Unity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of animation experience, including game development
• Leadership of animation projects or mentoring teams in gaming
• Strong reel showing storytelling, timing and animation principles

Responsibilities

• Create and lead complex animations for EGM development
• Drive creative vision and high standards for animation quality
• Develop storyboards, animatics, and gameplay sequences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on animation strategies
• Mentor junior animators and review assets for integration into the game engine
• Test and iterate animations in Unity and studio environments
