Job summary

Old Mission Capital is seeking a Quantitative FX Trader to join our Chicago team. You will report to a managing partner and bring strong decision making, risk management, pricing theory, and market-structure knowledge to FX spot and related derivatives.

You will lead trading initiatives, collaborate with engineering and research teams to build strategies and models, and mentor junior traders while expanding our FX footprint globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field.
• Deep understanding of FX market including forecasting, trading, portfolio construction and risk management.
• Experience with FX spot and derivatives trading is preferred.
• Proficiency with Python/SQL/Excel is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expansion of FX trading efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering and research to develop proprietary strategies, pricing models and risk techniques.
• Partner with operations on clearing, vendors, ATS, and client relationships.
• Design, implement, and monitor trading strategies.
• Train and mentor junior traders.
