Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks an FX Operations Analyst 3 to provide expert guidance on complex FX transactions and client inquiries. The role involves supporting multi-currency loan activity, settlements, and related funding calculations across internal and external stakeholders.

You will be the escalation point for complex FX operational issues, working with Sales, Treasury Management, Risk, Compliance, and IT to resolve problems promptly and improve client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 3 years of experience in Foreign Exchange Operations or Capital Markets Operations.
• Exempt status; authorized to work in the United States; employer sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and decision support for complex FX transactions and inquiries.
• Act as SME for multi-currency loan transactions and funding events.
• Coordinate FX syndicated loan settlements with internal and external parties.
• Review FX rate applications, currency conversions, and funding calculations.
• Investigate and resolve exceptions impacting multi-currency loan settlements.
• Escalate complex FX operational issues and client inquiries as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Treasury Management, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT.
• Perform detailed analyses of foreign exchange transactions to identify root causes.
• Monitor queues, prioritize escalated items, and maintain SLAs.
• Identify trends and process gaps, recommending improvements.
