Job summary

American Cancer Society is seeking a dynamic fundraising professional to lead a $400,000+ event portfolio, driving revenue through donor, sponsor, and volunteer engagement. You will manage relationships and move constituents through the donor pipeline to deepen impact.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, logistics, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality events that align with our mission and values. Evening and weekend participation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years fundraising experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong donor and community engagement orientation.

Responsibilities

• Build donor, sponsor, and volunteer relationships to meet revenue goals.
• Plan and execute event fundraising activities including logistics and budgets.
• Develop strategies to grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline.
• Align participants and partners with broader engagement opportunities to deepen impact.
• Monitor performance and adjust strategies to optimize revenue and ROI.
• Coordinate cross-functional partners to ensure successful event delivery and brand alignment.
