Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Senior Fund Formation Lawyer in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience advising sponsors on fund formation and assisting limited partners in private equity investments.

Responsibilities include guiding sovereign funds and partners on investments, collaborating on transactions, structuring funds, and managing governance and regulatory compliance. Bar admission in New York is required.

Qualifications

• Over six years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with 40 Act matters; '40 Act funds experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise sponsors on fund formation matters.
• Guide limited partners on private equity investments.
• Collaborate on private equity transactions, M&A, and joint ventures.
• Assist with fund structuring, fundraising, and investor negotiations.
• Manage governance and regulatory compliance for funds.
