Job summary

Mission Staffing is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant / Assistant Controller for a leading global private equity investment firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will engage in fund accounting, financial reporting, investor reporting, valuations, and fund operations across multiple funds.

You will work closely with Finance and Investment teams, contributing to new fund launches, valuation initiatives, and process improvements within a high-visibility, sophisticated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in US GAAP fund accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with investor communications and capital calls.
• Ability to manage multiple funds and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for multiple private equity funds and related entities.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage and review capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and LP notices.
• Prepare waterfall calculations, including carried interest and allocation methodologies.
• Reconcile and analyze portfolio company activity, including investments, realizations, income, and other transactions.
• Review fund-level trial balances, general ledgers, and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with external fund administrators and ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
