Job summary

Attribution Search is hiring a Fund Accountant/Controller to join its US team in New York. This role entails owning the entire US fund control function, collaborating with investment, operations, risk, and external providers, and bridging front-office exposure with traditional fund control.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in daily PnL checks, NAV oversight, and valuations across complex credit strategies, with a professional accounting qualification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of specialized experience in fund control, product control, or valuations within alternative asset management, hedge funds, or banking.
• Proven hands-on background in daily PnL verification and control frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of NAV processes, administrator oversight, and month-end control frameworks.
• Professional accounting qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end fund control processes, daily PnL checks, and attribution reporting.
• Oversee and review NAV production, fund accounting outputs, and month-end close processes.
• Execute independent valuation reviews across complex portfolios, challenging broker marks, pricing sources, model inputs, and stale pricing considerations.
