Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Fund/Client Accounting IC2 to deliver accounting services for assigned clients and moderately complex funds. You will determine net asset values, calculate fund performance, allocate expenses, and prepare client reports.

The role includes guiding junior staff and supporting service improvements within the team. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in accounting, 3-5 years total work experience, and preferably Big 4 background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Fund/Client Accounting for assigned clients and moderately complex funds, including NAV determination, fund performance calculation, expense allocation and report preparation.
• Review the work of more junior team members and ensure accuracy of reports for clients.
• Perform cash and asset reconciliations and allocate expenses for complex transactions.
• Escalate atypical transactions to senior team members and draft client reports on fund performance.
