Job summary

Chris Baily in New York is seeking a Senior Analyst in Fund Accounting to support monthly and quarterly fund closings, NAV review, and reconciliation tasks. You will prepare capital statements, review fee waterfalls, and coordinate capital calls and distributions in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires 2–4 years of fund accounting experience, a BA/Finance degree, and CPA is preferred. Big Four experience is highly desirable and collaboration with internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2–4 years of fund accounting experience in financial services.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Big Four public accounting experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly fund closings, including NAV review and reconciliation tasks.
• Calculate and review management and incentive fee waterfalls for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review partners' capital statements, ensuring compliance with financial standards.
• Coordinate and review capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
• Manage fund expenses, including accruals and payment coordination for accuracy.
• Prepare investor return calculations and NAV estimates monthly.
