Job summary

CFS, a respected alternative investment firm in the United States, is seeking a qualified accountant to support complex fund accounting operations across a diversified portfolio including real estate, private equity, and distressed debt.

You will work closely with leadership, investor relations, auditors, and tax professionals in a collaborative, hybrid environment and have opportunities for meaningful career growth.

Qualifications

• CPA with 2-4 years of experience in investment fund accounting or public accounting/audit.
• Experience in financial statement preparation, audits, and investor reporting.
• Critical thinker with strong analytical skills who can manage complex projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and investor capital statements.
• Review investment valuation models and ensure key assumptions are properly supported and documented.
• Interpret partnership agreements and investment documents to ensure accurate accounting and reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with investor relations, auditors, and tax professionals to support investor activity, capital calls, distributions, audits, and tax filings.
