Job summary

A leading financial services firm seeks a Senior Fund Accountant/Assistant Fund Controller to oversee fund audits, manage the monthly closing process, and prepare financial statements. Candidates should have 4-7 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in hedge funds or private equity. Compensation includes base salary of $135,000 to $165,000, plus bonuses and benefits like seven weeks PTO. This role offers hybrid work flexibility and opportunities for growth within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of fund accounting experience at a hedge fund, private equity firm, or fund administrator.
• Experience with credit products such as ABS or CLOs is a plus.
• Public/private experience and a CPA are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the monthly and quarterly closing process.
• Oversee the relationship with the external fund administrator.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Manage the funds' audits and handle investor capital calls and distributions.
