I'm working with a credit-focused real estate investment platform seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their finance team. This individual will support fund-level accounting, deal activity, investor reporting, and tax coordination across a growing portfolio of multifamily and condo construction investments.

This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO, ideal for someone who brings both technical rigor and a strong operational mindset within private credit or structured real estate environments.

What You’ll Gain

• Ownership of end-to-end fund accounting and capital activity workflows
• Exposure to both asset- and fund-level reporting, including complex capital structures
• Day-to-day collaboration with deal teams, legal, and external lenders

Key Responsibilities

• Track investment activity, leverage positions, and interest/fee income
• Maintain fund books and records, including capital account statements and waterfalls
• Prepare financial statements, capital calls, distributions, and investor allocation files
• Support management company reporting and budgeting analysis

Deal & Treasury Operations

• Coordinate closings, construction draw requests, and funding processes
• Liaise with loan servicers, leverage providers, and compliance teams
• Manage cash flow tracking, treasury activities, and investor communication
• Prepare tax workbooks and assist with audit and tax deliverables

Investor & Stakeholder Communication

• Interface with internal and external stakeholders including borrowers, lenders, and investment partners
• Respond to ad hoc investor inquiries and support recurring investor reporting cycles

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of fund accounting experience within private credit, real estate, or structured products
• Strong Excel skills, including capital account and waterfall modeling
• Familiarity with fund admin tools (Juniper Square or similar platforms)
• Understanding of structured credit accounting and investor allocations
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-driven
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; CPA preferred
