We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join a fast-growing private equity real estate fund. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, supporting the financial operations and reporting for a portfolio of real estate investments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting, real estate investments, or alternative assets, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting for private equity real estate funds, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and real estate fund reporting standards.
• Support capital call and distribution processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Work closely with external fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to facilitate reporting and compliance requirements.
• Maintain and reconcile capital account statements for investors, ensuring accuracy in allocations and financial reporting.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash management for the fund.
• Analyze and track fund performance metrics, providing insights to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and best practices to optimize financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in private equity, real estate, or alternative investments.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, investment partnership accounting, and real estate fund structures.
• Experience working with fund administrators, auditors, and external service providers.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; experience with Yardi, MRI, or Investran is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
