Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

The project is a Hedge Fund Management Trading Platform implementation. You will be part of a Top Initiative for this hedge fund. This is an opportunity to work on several types of products and learn a new trading platform. The team will be responsible for the implementation of a new trading system.

• Orchestrade is in .Net (C#): Natively connected to Excel
• Database: Microsoft SQL
• Delivered In-House or Hosted (Amazon Web Services)

The role requires analysis to build and define the implementation roadmap and then execute the delivery plan. You will join our Orchestrade Practice and become a member of our open minded, progressive and professional team. You will have a chance to grow your functional and soft skills and build a thorough expertise of the industry of our client.

Salary range for New York: 80000 - 200000 USD Gross Per Year dependent on knowledge and experience. Salary range for other locations: competitive local market rates.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior business analyst with several years of experience (10+) in capital markets and trading software
• Be an integral part of the design, implementation, and test team
• Gather requirements by conducting workshops/one-on-one discussions with the business teams/SMEs
• Analyze, evaluate, and verify requirements by working closely with other development, verification team members & Business representatives
• Document the requirements in JIRA as User stories and provide proper acceptance criteria
• Create user stories, use cases and scenarios for the given requirements
• Work and communicate in a cross-functional global team comprised of BA, Developers, project managers and support representatives
• Testing & confirming if the development is as per the features requested
• Proactively provide status, raise issues, and communicate necessary information to IT teams on a regular basis via daily stand-up meetings
• Participate in discussions and/or presentations
• Facilitate and assist in the story point estimation / task estimation process related to activities in an Agile Environment

Qualifications

• Essentials skills and qualifications:
• Hands on experience on Orchestrade
• Capital Market experience with strong cross-products knowledge
• Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered appropriately
• Proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources
• Exposure to trading platforms like Murex, Calypso, Orchestrade, etc.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment
• Knowledge of financial products / experience in banking
• Experience in writing user stories and working with JIRA / similar tools
• System Integration and User Acceptance testing
