Job summary

Capitole is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong frontend mindset to join an international project. You will contribute to the evolution of the central platform used by developers across the organization, working on modern frontend experiences, Backstage integrations, and cloud-native solutions.

You will develop React-based UI components, build Backstage plugins, and design integrations via REST APIs while collaborating with UX teams to create intuitive developer experiences.

Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript with React expertise.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and async data flows.
• Experience in UI/UX-driven frontend development and scalable architectures.
• Experience in enterprise IT environments and AWS.
• Professional English and Spanish (C1) communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React-based UI components.

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong frontend mindset to join an international project.

You will contribute to the evolution of the central platform used by developers across the organization, working on modern frontend experiences, Backstage integrations, and cloud-native solutions.

What will you do?

• Develop and enhance React-based UI components.
• Build and maintain Backstage plugins integrating multiple enterprise platforms.
• Design and implement integrations through REST APIs and platform services.
• Collaborate closely with UX teams to create intuitive developer experiences.
• Contribute to architecture, scalability, and platform evolution initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders across several international teams and organizational units.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement activities.

What are we looking for?

Must Have

• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency with React.
• Experience working with REST APIs and asynchronous data processing.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and reusable component design.
• Good knowledge of software, system and process architectures.
• Experience working in enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with AWS.
• Spanish and English C1 level.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing Backstage plugins or working with developer portal platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of developer ecosystems, GitHub integrations, compliance, monitoring or AI tooling.
• Experience integrating fact providers or platform data sources.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and international environments.
• Proactive mindset and high level of autonomy.
• Experience working under Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
