South Geeks is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong Python experience and frontend skills in Angular or React to join our remote engineering team and help build a wealth-management platform. This hands-on role emphasizes ownership, collaboration with the CTO and Engineering Manager, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions.

The role requires 4+ years of Python (Django/Flask) experience, frontend proficiency in Angular or React, and solid background in REST/SOAP APIs and relational

Qualifications

• Senior-level Python experience (4+ years) with Django and/or Flask.
• Front-end development experience with Angular or React.
• Experience designing REST/SOAP APIs and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features using Python (Django/Flask) on the backend and Angular or React on the frontend.
• Design and maintain Service Oriented Architectures (REST/JSON or SOAP web services).
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and ORM tools, writing efficient queries and ensuring data integrity.
• Contribute to cloud architecture and design in AWS or Azure.
• Use Docker, ECS, Kubernetes or similar container products for deployment.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment (Jira, Confluence), participating in code reviews and demos.
