Metropolis is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer for the Visit Experience platform in Seattle, on-site. You will own feature development across frontend and backend, collaborating with UX, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver frictionless experiences.

You will lead technical design, drive scalable architectures, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to continuous platform improvements and best practices.

Formación

• MS or BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
• 6+ years building scalable applications in frontend and backend.
• Backend with Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java and RESTful API development.
• Relational databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL; NoSQL familiarity.
• Cloud platforms AWS/GCP/Azure; Docker and Kubernetes; Agile experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain features across the full tech stack from databases to APIs and UIs.
• Own projects from inception to production with high-quality delivery and rapid iteration.
• Collaborate with UX, product, and backend engineers to meet technical requirements.
• Ensure performance and scalability for high-throughput environments.
• Promote coding, testing, and deployment best practices for robust solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow team capabilities.
• Evaluate new tools/frameworks and drive platform improvements.
