Job summary

LiveRamp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape Data Marketplace capabilities across APIs, services, and user workflows. You will lead design-to-production delivery, partnering with product, design, infra, and other engineering teams to tackle scalable, data-intensive problems.

You’ll mentor engineers, drive code quality and testing, and help evolve AI-forward experiences in a privacy-conscious data platform across multiple locations including San Francisco and New York.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Experience designing and delivering scalable distributed systems, APIs, and data-intensive applications.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
• Experience with TypeScript and React for customer-facing product development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale core Data Marketplace capabilities across APIs, services, and user workflows.
• Lead medium-to-large technical initiatives from design through production rollout.
• Drive architecture decisions for systems enabling marketplace discovery, activation, monetization, and integrations.
• Improve reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence across production systems.
• Mentor engineers, unblock teammates, and influence technical directions.
