Job summary

Clair is transforming how hourly workers access wages by embedding payroll in workplace apps. We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Products team who owns features end-to-end and drives outcomes with AI-driven workflows.

You’ll design resilient architectures, build data pipelines with telemetry, and partner with design, product, and data teams to ship high-impact features. Remote role with strong compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications in cloud-native environments.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI-assisted workflows for rapid, high-quality code generation.
• A track record of prioritizing user impact over technical cleverness and holding yourself accountable to business metrics.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Product Ownership: Partner with design, product, and data teams to define technical strategy and evaluate trade-offs.
• Build with AI & Agents: Architect and deploy features utilizing AI models and autonomous workflows.
• System-Wide Architecture: Design resilient systems with attention to latency, scale, and data telemetry.
• Measure Business Impact: Own features after launch and monitor key metrics to iterate.
