Job summary

EY is seeking a frontend-focused software engineer to design and implement UI components across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. The role emphasizes translating business requirements into scalable frontend architectures and robust APIs using Java, Python, FastAPI, and OpenAPI.

You will work in a hybrid model with clients and cross-functional teams, applying TDD and modern software engineering practices to deliver high-quality software and AI-enabled platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
• Designing and developing user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients, providing engagement with stakeholders.
