Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior SWE to contribute on a small team delivering enterprise web services in AWS. You will own features end-to-end, influence design, and improve reliability across API, UI, and data layers.

The role requires strong secure coding practices, Linux/AWS deployment experience, and a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. A CS degree or equivalent experience is expected, with additional certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
• 7 years SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Security clearance TS/SCI with polygraph required.
• IAM Level I or equivalent certification required.
• Experience deploying software on Linux and AWS is expected.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a core engineer on a small team delivering enterprise web services in AWS.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end and influence design decisions.
• Design and implement features across API, UI, and data layer with limited supervision.
• Own services in production, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Contribute to system architecture and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver iteratively in Agile.
