Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software professional in Virginia to design and deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions for demanding clients. You will own both UI/UX and backend layers, assess architectures, and apply contemporary tools and techniques to overcome complex challenges while aligning with client environments and future needs.

The role requires 5+ years in UI/UX with React, 5+ years backend experience (Java/Python/Go/SQL), AWS cloud experience, IaC, containers, and a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI/UX experience with a front-end framework such as React.
• 5+ years of back-end development with languages such as Java, Python, Go, SQL, or C++, and front-end languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise application development.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns (ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, network security).
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS and container orchestration.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
